Just watched the documentary (Anvil: The Story Of Anvil) – just great. Never been a fan of the band but you have to admire their balls, their guts and their determination to carry on when many mortal souls would have quit.

Of course its kinda depressing and parts of the film reflect this (many would call these guys sad old gits) but there’s something about Steve “Lips” Kudlow and Robb Reiner, the two original band members, that make you want you to shake their hands and say “keep on doing what you do – cos you do it good”.
