I suppose you're right, our library is quite good. Huge selection of Jazz, Folk, Blues. Maybe a bit light on the rock side but that's OK.

The music section is called The Rory Gallagher library. Apparently he donated loadsa money to it over time and I think some of his record collection ended up there.

On permanent display is his guitar and a few glass cases with his gold discs, concert programmes, etc. Quite a cool place really.
One of the squares in the centre of town is called Rory Gallagher Place (or something like that). He grew up here and lived here for years. Everyone here knows someone related to him and I met his brother and his uncle at the Peter Green gig last year.

But more to the point - who says you can't drink a bottle of Sambuca every day? You ain't met me and Mrs Pig yet have you?

Good enough album, but a bit light for my tastes at that time. Marillion, Marillion, Marillion - but only when Fish was with them. Ergo Pallas when Euan Lowson was there!

That was the early '80's for me anyway.

Hi Sinny - glad you like this month mix. I agree Cara Dillon is bit radio 2ish but I just fell in love with it and I don't have too much folky stuff like that in my collection. Must be great for Spacey having this sort of music in his local pub - what do we have here?

I'm Looking forward to Spaceys and Kens feedback too as they have both been quiet on the mix front lately.

Spacey may I remind you where I live - there are plenty of creatures here that do not drink beer. Mind you, my family more than make up for them.

Hi Spacey - glad you like Methany. Cant believe the music that you're library has - you are a lucky man.

The one thing with this guy is, that he has so many albums and his style is quite similar throughout that he can be a wee bit repetitive. Don't get me wrong I like the albums that I have and when the mood takes me its just great but he's a bit like bottle of Sambuca, you can't drink one every day but once a month is great.

Hey Mr LD bit of feedback for you

Good mix again but as I said earlier different to norm still good but lighter some great songs.

My favs have to be Mamas Boys, Dandy Warhols, Blind Melon and Jarvis's dad. Mr SP's mix is not what I expected they are almost normal - enjoyed them though.

Not sure I'm ever going to like Cara Dillon bit to radio 2ish for me

Looking forward to Spaceys and Kens feedback

Spacepig, since I class myself as something of an idiot, this should be the perfect Idiot's Guide to Idiot speak... ;-)

Am I the only one who lost the gist of this conversation around about the beginning of LZ's mention of blogtrottr?

Call me a total technophobe if you want to (everyone else does) but I think I'll just wait till Junior is here to do it for me.

Is there such a thing as the Idiots Guide to interpreting LZ talk?
