How could I resist two brothers from Ystrad Mynach who cite “our mam’s cookin’ and our dad’s stories” as influences and who play music with a passion and attitude almost without a care in the world. One album that is top of things my daughter must bring back from UK list.

Golly gosh! They don’t half kick up a storm do they? What a racket for a two piece to brew up. Whatever their mam was feeding them it sure didn’t do them any harm.
The video just seems to make it imperative to catch them live as soon as possible, the samples just say ‘get the beers in, the boys are in town’.
Any idea if they play anywhere apart from Wales?

According to their MySpace page they’re in the Barfly Cardiff on the 10th of this month (LD, send the sprogs to do a gig review!) but best to keep any eye on there for more gigs. Or contact them?
I reckon they should have also cited the Black Keys. It’s all good though.
