Guitarist and singer Micky Jones, one of the founders of Welsh prog rock band, Man, has died aged 63.

    Very sad. Not only are Man my favourite Welsh band by a long long way, they are also well up there in my top 10 of all time bands.

    Only seen them twice, both great gigs but I think I have practically all their albums. I think that they must have the best LP cover of all time as well. I know we have a fair sprinkling of Welshmen visiting this site and you really should have a look for the LP version of Be Good to Yourself at Least Once a Day.

    Deepest sympathy to this great musicians family and thanks to the great man for a treasure trove of wonderfully manic music.
