As it’s the season of goodwill and the time to give good things to all men (and women etc.) next month’s Music Mix will be available on Christmas Day.
It will give you a chance to unwind a bit in the afternoon, turn the Queens speech to mute and relax to some great music – I think it’s the best yet!! Also, I’ll probably be too hungover on 1st January to worry too much about blogging.
I’ll also be posting my Album of the Year and Song of the Year, and if anyone can guess what they are they can select all the music for February’s Music Mix as a prize

What a challenge, choosing the music for February, gotta have a go!
Album: Them Crooked Vultures
Song: Porcupine Tree – Time Flies
How many tries do we get? You have to remember that I am hopeless at competitions of any kind whatsoever.
Hi Spacey – you can have as many goes as you like and I will leave clues for you as well.
First clue – both my album and song of the year have never been mentioned on the blog.
BTW – your first guess is very good and both are in my top 5 of the year
OK then, guess No 2:
Album – Lynyrd Skynyrd – God & Guns
Song – Florence + The Machine – Dog Days Are Over
How am I doing? Another clue please!
Very warm with Lynyrd Skynyrd but for song not album
Album was released before April this year and has already won an award
Hey Mr LD – back from my travels been offshore as well but glad you are feeling better

My guesses are for album of the year
Kiss – Sonic Boom:
The Decemberists – The Hazards of Love
The Temper Trap – Conditions: – this album is just great
