…but what if it’s not very good???

Them Crooked Vultures – yes that new super group we’re all going love (actually I do like what I’m hearing so far) are currently offering a free preview via My Space, You Tube and their own website, where you can listen to all the songs from the new album before its released next week.

What do you think of this? Is it a good thing to hear the songs before the official release date or is it risky business?

them crooked vultures 2 Although with these guys in a band they dont really have to market it too hard do they?

Its the way that PR’s work now. I don’ believe that this would work unless the band are big and as you quite rightly highlighted this band are big. I also like what I hear too

Could it be that, having made the CD and listened to it, they know it’s good? The name is obviously not well known but giving the public the chance to hear it for free, with the music being so good, they know they are going to increase sales.

Going to be interesting to see how many other bands follow their lead.

Having listened to this at work and home for a few days now – I can honestly say that I love the album and I love the fact that I have been able to listen to it and enjoy it – really enjoy it.

Cant wait til its released here – will buy.

But I must ask if it was the new John Mayer album ‘Battle Studies’ which ain’t that good would I be saying the same thing – or just grateful that I had heard it was tosh before spending my hard earned dosh?
