Paul Cusick – When It Rains

To keep us happy until his new album is ready, here’s Paul’s new single ‘When It Rains’.

As Paul says “It always surprises me that children smile and laugh so much. This becomes ever more apparent when you see children playing in a backdrop of streets torn apart by poverty, natural disatser or war. There is something amazing about the human spirit that helps it overcome”.

Paul Cusick – Focal Point

First of all I have to thank Mr. Cheezy, one of our contributors here on MFTM for recommending Paul Cusick to our ears. It was one of many highlights from his recent Long and Winding Music Mix and demonstrates what fantastic taste in music you guys have.

The album, Focal Point, is one of those albums that on first listen you say “mmm that was good”. On second and third listen you say “mmm I like this, who is this guy?” – and on the 4th or 5th listen you are gently foaming at the month saying “Gosh, this is truly f*%@ing wonderful, where has this guy been all my life”. Henry’s Funeral Shoe

How could I resist two brothers from Ystrad Mynach who cite “our mam’s cookin’ and our dad’s stories” as influences and who play music with a passion and attitude almost without a care in the world. One album that is top of things my daughter must bring back from UK list.
